Safari Mesh is spray-painted on the butterfly knife using mesh fencing and cardboard cutouts as stencils, leaving a rough field-camouflage texture. The improvised stencil method gives it a deliberately low-grade, utilitarian look rather than a polished print. It is among the plainer butterfly finishes, valued more for the flipping frame than the paint.
