CS2 Inspect Servers
Inspect Server List: Connect Commands
The largest active inspect network is epidemic.gg (the community known from the ohnePixel Discord). Open the console (~) in CS2, paste a command and press Enter. On the server, type !gen with a skin code or !i with an inspect link in chat to get the skin in your hands.

Inspect Links: Preview Without a Server
Every skin can be previewed without a community server through a steam://rungame/730/…+csgo_econ_action_preview link. It launches CS2 and opens the built-in inspect view with the exact finish, float and pattern encoded in the link.
A working example generated by this site (AK-47 | Redline, Field-Tested): inspect in game →
Every skin page in our catalog carries an "Inspect in Game" button per wear level, and pattern pages carry them per seed (the canon Blue Gems, for example). Browse CS2 skins →
- Links with D (preview) parameters show a finish and pattern; our catalog generates these.
- Links with S and A parameters point at one specific copy from an inventory or a marketplace listing, with the owner's float, stickers and charms.
- Both kinds are free and give nobody access to your account.
How to Inspect a Skin: Three Ways
- In your own inventory — hover an item in CS2 and choose Inspect. Works only for skins you own.
- Via an inspect link — click an inspect link on a skin page or marketplace listing; CS2 opens the built-in preview. The fastest way to check a specific listing before buying.
- On an inspect server — connect with a command from the table above and hold the skins: third-person view, animations, sticker crafts, real maps. The only way to see a skin exactly as it looks in a match.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a CS2 inspect server?
A community CS2 server where chat commands hand you any skin: you can view it in third person, check it on real maps and preview sticker crafts before buying. The skins exist only on the server and never enter your inventory.
How do I join an inspect server?
Open the developer console (the ~ key, enabled in game settings) and paste a connect command from the table above, for example connect dust2.epidemic.gg. Once in, type !gen with a skin code or !i with an inspect link in chat.
Where are the ohnePixel inspect servers?
The CS:GO-era inspect servers known from ohnePixel streams were not upgraded to CS2. The community runs on the epidemic.gg network now: the same features (!gen commands, third-person viewing) across dozens of servers and maps.
Why is "Inspect in Game" not working?
A steam://rungame link only opens if the Steam client is running and CS2 is installed. Your browser asks for permission to open Steam on the first click; it has to be allowed. If the game is already running, the inspect appears inside it rather than in a new window. Links with S (owner Steam ID) and A (asset ID) parameters point at one specific copy: once that item is sold or traded, the link goes dead.
Is inspecting free? Is it safe?
Yes. Inspect servers and inspect links require no Steam login on third-party sites, ask for no password and get no access to your inventory. You are only looking at the skin model in game.
