This rifle-derived M9 Bayonet carries the Doppler treatment, where black and silver metallic paints are swirled through a marbleizing medium and then sealed under a translucent candy coat. The Phase 3 designation marks a specific slice of that swirl pattern, so each knife in the series carries a slightly different distribution of color across the blade.

Doppler phases
Doppler and Gamma Doppler are split into phases. Standard Doppler has Phase 1–4 plus the rare Ruby (red), Sapphire (blue) and Black Pearl. Gamma Doppler adds Emerald as its top phase.
The phase is part of the item and changes both the look and the value — Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Black Pearl trade well above the numbered phases. On this page the phase is shown in the name and selectable where variants exist.
