Ruby is the prized end of the Flip Knife's Doppler line, where the marbleized base happens to cure into a deep, near-uniform red under the candy coat. That clean red is rare to pull from the marbling process, putting it well above the standard color phases. It is a Doppler finish collected purely for how much solid ruby the blade reveals.

Doppler phases
Doppler and Gamma Doppler are split into phases. Standard Doppler has Phase 1–4 plus the rare Ruby (red), Sapphire (blue) and Black Pearl. Gamma Doppler adds Emerald as its top phase.
The phase is part of the item and changes both the look and the value — Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Black Pearl trade well above the numbered phases. On this page the phase is shown in the name and selectable where variants exist.
