This Doppler Bayonet is finished by floating black and silver metallic paints on a marbleizing medium, then sealing the swirl under a candy coat. Phase 1 is the dark, blue-and-black end of the Doppler spectrum, prized by collectors who want the cooler marbled look rather than the brighter phases. Each blade's pattern is unique to the marbling process.

Doppler phases
Doppler and Gamma Doppler are split into phases. Standard Doppler has Phase 1–4 plus the rare Ruby (red), Sapphire (blue) and Black Pearl. Gamma Doppler adds Emerald as its top phase.
The phase is part of the item and changes both the look and the value — Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Black Pearl trade well above the numbered phases. On this page the phase is shown in the name and selectable where variants exist.
