Mantling lets a hero climb ledges; wall jumps use nearby surfaces to change direction or gain height.
In practice
Look for reachable cover and ledges before a fight. Practise the route so that an escape does not end against a wall.

Current rules apply a strong movement slow instead of the old direct cancellation.
Is every visible wall climbable?
No. Test the actual ledge and approach; a useful-looking surface is not proof that your intended mantle route works.
