What to Do If Steam Servers Are Down
- Check your connection — Open another website. If it loads fine — the issue is on Steam's side
- Restart Steam — Fully close the client (tray → Exit) and reopen it
- Change download region — Steam → Settings → Downloads → Region. Pick the nearest working server
- Verify game files — Right-click game → Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity
- Go offline — Steam → Go Offline. Single-player games will still be available
