Steam Calculator FAQ

How is account value calculated?

We sum up the current prices of all games in your library. This represents what it would cost to buy your library today at full price. Actual spending is usually lower due to sales and bundles.

Why doesn't it match what I've spent?

The calculator shows current retail value, not your actual spending. If you bought games on sale, in bundles, or received them as gifts, your actual spending will be significantly lower than the calculated value.

Does it include DLC and in-game items?

We include DLC that's visible in your library. In-game purchases, Steam market transactions, and some hidden DLC may not be counted, making the actual value potentially higher.

Is my profile data safe?

We only access publicly available information from your Steam profile. We don't store your data permanently — calculations are done in real-time and results aren't saved on our servers.
